How to use

Hold the microphone in the hand with the capsule pointed toward the speaker at a distance suitable for speech capture, typically 5–15 cm for clear voice reproduction. Connect the microphone to a compatible recorder or wireless transmitter according to the device’s input method and verify levels before recording. Operate the unit in a direct, on-axis position to prioritise the speaker’s voice and reduce background noise. If a windscreen or foam cover is supplied, fit it over the capsule when recording outdoors or in windy conditions.

Recommendations

For best results, check input levels on your recording device and maintain a consistent distance from the microphone to preserve even vocal levels. Use the supplied windscreen in outdoor environments to reduce wind noise and plosives. Store the microphone in a dry place and avoid impact or prolonged exposure to moisture to maintain performance.
