ROLINE HDMI Cable 10m

The ROLINE 10m HDMI cable features HDMI Type A connectors on both ends and supports High Speed HDMI functionality with a data transfer rate of 10.2 Gbit/s. Designed for longer connections, the black cable carries uncompressed digital audio and high-definition video over a single lead and is compatible with 3D signals and current compressed audio formats.

Advantages

This HDMI cable delivers all-digital audio and video through a single cable to simplify cabling and reduce signal degradation over longer distances. As a High Speed HDMI cable it supports up to 10.2 Gbit/s bandwidth, higher color depths (10-, 12- and 16-bit RGB/YCbCr) and modern audio formats including uncompressed multi-channel audio and lossless formats supported by High Speed specification.

Suitable for

• Connecting Blu-ray players, game consoles and AV receivers to HDTVs and projectors
• Home theater setups requiring a 10 m cable run
• Systems using 3D video or multi-channel digital audio

Key specifications

• Length: 10 m
• Connectors: HDMI Type A (Standard) — both ends
• Bandwidth / Data rate: High Speed HDMI up to 10.2 Gbit/s (single-link)
• Color: Black
• Supports: 3D video, uncompressed multi-channel audio, common compressed formats (Dolby Digital, DTS), and High Speed lossless audio formats

How to use

Connect one HDMI Type A connector to the source device (for example a Blu-ray player, console or set-top box) and the other HDMI Type A connector to the display device (TV or projector). Ensure both devices are powered on and set to the correct input/output. If the connected devices support higher color depths or lossless audio, configure their HDMI/audio settings accordingly to enable those features.

Recommendations

For best performance, avoid tightly coiling the cable and keep it away from large power cables or sources of electromagnetic interference. When routing the 10 m cable through walls or conduits, verify local regulations and use appropriate installation techniques to prevent damage and ensure proper ventilation around connectors.
