Salter EK5531MMSVDE Blender

The Salter EK5531MMSVDE Aspen Glass Jug Blender combines a glass jug design with a motor intended for everyday kitchen blending tasks. It offers multiple speed settings plus a pulse function to adjust texture and consistency for smoothies, soups, sauces and crushed ice. The blender's removable jug and blades are designed for straightforward cleaning and everyday use, and the unit includes safety features intended to support secure operation.

Advantages

The glass jug gives a clear view of contents and resists staining and odours compared with some plastic alternatives. Multiple speed settings and a pulse function provide flexibility in achieving smooth or textured results. The appliance is designed to handle tasks such as blending, pureeing and ice crushing, while simple assembly and removable components make cleaning and maintenance easier. Built-in safety features reduce the risk of operation if the jug is not correctly positioned.

Suitable for

• Making fruit and vegetable smoothies
• Preparing blended soups and sauces
• Crushing ice for cold drinks
• Milling soft ingredients and pureeing baby food

Key specifications

• Glass jug construction for improved clarity and stain resistance
• Multiple speed settings plus pulse function for variable texture control
• Stainless steel blades for blending and ice crushing
• Compact freestanding design for countertop use
• Removable jug and lid for easier cleaning

How to use

Place the blender on a level surface, ensure the jug is correctly seated on the base, and add ingredients to the glass jug without exceeding the maximum fill level. Select the required speed setting or use the pulse function for short bursts to control texture. For icy or hard items, use the pulse mode initially to break solids into smaller pieces before running a continuous cycle. After use, switch off and unplug the unit, disassemble the jug and lid, and wash removable parts according to the manufacturer's cleaning guidance.

Recommendations

Use cold liquids and softened frozen fruits when possible to reduce stress on the motor when crushing ice. Avoid overfilling the jug and allow the motor to rest during extended blending cycles to prolong the appliance's service life.
