Sandberg 520-25 Gel Wrist Rest

The Sandberg 520-25 Gel Wrist Rest for keyboard provides cushioned support during extended typing sessions. Made from soft gel that adapts to the shape of the wrists, it helps reduce pressure and promotes a more neutral typing posture. The wrist rest measures 460 mm wide, 75 mm deep and 17 mm high and comes in black to match most workspaces.

Advantages

The gel construction moulds to the user's wrists for even support while remaining firm enough to stabilise hand position. Its compact profile and 460 mm width suit full-size and many compact keyboards. The black finish is low-profile and easy to integrate into an existing desk setup.

Suitable for

• Office and home computer users who type for long periods
• Users aiming to reduce wrist strain during typing
• People using full-size or mid-size keyboards (up to approximately 460 mm wide)

How to use

Place the wrist rest directly in front of your keyboard so your wrists rest lightly on the gel surface while typing. Position the rest so the base of your palms makes contact without forcing your wrists to bend upward or downward. Keep the rest clean by wiping with a damp cloth and mild detergent when needed. Avoid exposure to sharp objects and prolonged direct sunlight.

Recommendations

Use the wrist rest as a posture aid rather than a substitute for ergonomic breaks: combine its use with regular pauses, wrist stretches and an adjusted chair and monitor height to maintain comfortable typing ergonomics.
