Satellite Multiswitch Televes MS512C

The Televes MS512C is a satellite multiswitch designed to distribute satellite signals from up to five inputs to twelve independent outputs. Covering a wide frequency range of 950–2400 MHz, this device supports typical LNB and receiver requirements while offering compact, low-power operation at 12 V and 85 mA consumption. The MS512C is intended for structured installations where multiple receivers or tuners need stable access to satellite channels without signal conflicts.

Advantages

The multiswitch provides simultaneous distribution to twelve outputs with consistent frequency coverage and low power draw. Its compact design simplifies mounting in equipment racks or wiring cabinets and reduces heat generation. Stable signal handling and compatibility with standard LNB outputs enable straightforward integration into both new and existing satellite distribution systems.

Suitable for

• Small to medium residential satellite installations
• Apartment blocks with shared satellite feeds
• Small commercial premises requiring multiple independent receivers
• Upgrading single-dwelling systems to multiple-receiver setups

Key specifications

• Inputs: 5 (satellite/LNB inputs)
• Outputs: 12 independent receiver outputs
• Frequency range: 950–2400 MHz
• Operating voltage: 12 V
• Power consumption: 85 mA
• Form factor: compact multiswitch for indoor mounting

How to use

Connect the satellite dish LNB outputs to the multiswitch inputs following the signal labeling on the device. Run coaxial cables from each of the twelve outputs to the corresponding satellite receivers or tuners. Apply a stable 12 V supply to the multiswitch and verify each receiver’s signal and channel tuning. If integrating into an existing distribution network, maintain proper cable lengths and quality to minimize signal loss and impedance mismatch.

Recommendations

For best results, use high-quality 75 Ω coaxial cable and connectors, check that the LNB provides the required outputs for the multiswitch, and place the unit in a ventilated, dry indoor location away from strong electromagnetic interference. Periodically inspect cable connections for corrosion or looseness to preserve signal quality.
