Severin KM 3880 Blade Mill

The Severin KM 3880 is a blade grinder designed to grind whole coffee beans quickly and efficiently. With a 240 g capacity and a 140 W motor, it blends a compact footprint with straightforward operation. The unit's black and stainless steel finish offers a neutral appearance for home kitchens and small office environments. The blade mechanism delivers a fast, coarse-to-medium grind suitable for drip, percolator, and some espresso-style preparations when used carefully.

Advantages

The grinder combines a 140 W motor with a 240 g bowl, enabling fast processing of typical home coffee quantities in a single cycle. Its blade design provides quick grinding and easy cleaning compared with more complex burr mechanisms. The black and stainless steel construction resists everyday wear and integrates well with other kitchen appliances. The straightforward controls make the device simple to use for those who prefer a no-fuss approach to coffee preparation.

Suitable for

• Grinding whole coffee beans for drip coffee makers
• Preparing grounds for French press and percolator brewers
• Small household and office use where moderate daily volumes are needed

Key specifications

• Capacity: 240 g coffee beans
• Motor power: 140 W
• Grinder type: Blade grinder
• Housing finish: Black and stainless steel
• Intended use: Domestic/office coffee grinding

How to use

Place the desired amount of whole beans into the grinding bowl up to the indicated capacity and secure the lid. Operate the grinder using the main control according to the manufacturer's instructions, pulsing to achieve a coarser texture or continuous operation for finer results, while observing short intervals to avoid overheating. After grinding, transfer the grounds to your brewer and wipe the grinding chamber with a dry cloth; avoid immersing the motor housing in water.

Recommendations

For best results, grind only the amount of beans you plan to brew immediately to preserve aroma. Use short pulses for more control over particle size and allow brief pauses between longer grinding cycles to prevent motor overheating.
