ShiverPeaks 77475-FLAT HDMI cable with Type-A plug, flat design

ShiverPeaks 77475-FLAT is a flat HDMI cable with A-type connectors designed for transmitting high-definition audio and video signals between devices that use standard HDMI ports. The cable's slim, flat profile makes it suitable for routing in narrow gaps, under carpets or along baseboards while maintaining the familiar HDMI A plug interface for compatibility with TVs, monitors, projectors and AV receivers.

Advantages

The flat design reduces cable bulking and improves flexibility for tight installations and discreet routing. Gold-plated contacts ensure stable signal transfer and corrosion resistance. The cable supports common HDMI features used in consumer and professional setups, providing reliable digital transmission for both video and audio over a single lead.

Suitable for

• Connecting TVs and monitors to media players, set-top boxes and computers
• Hooking projectors to laptops and AV receivers in meeting rooms
• Routing along walls, behind furniture or under carpets where space is limited
• Home theater systems requiring a compact, unobtrusive HDMI connection

Key specifications

• Connector type: HDMI A to HDMI A
• Design: flat profile for low-height routing
• Contact finish: gold-plated contacts for improved conductivity
• Supported video formats: Full HD and Ultra HD resolutions, 3D compatible
• Audio support: digital multi-channel audio over HDMI
• Length: 5.0 m (flat cable construction)

How to use

Insert each HDMI A connector firmly into the corresponding HDMI port on source and display devices until it sits securely. Position the flat cable along the chosen routing path — under a carpet, along a skirting board or behind furniture — taking advantage of the low-profile design to minimize visible bulk. Ensure both devices are powered off when connecting to avoid hot-plug issues, then power on and select the appropriate input on the display device.

Recommendations

Avoid sharp bends or repeated folding at the connector area to maintain signal integrity. Keep the cable away from strong electromagnetic sources such as large power transformers or unshielded power cables. For best results with high-resolution video and multi-channel audio, use the full length without additional passive adapters and verify device HDMI settings if resolution or audio channels are not detected automatically.
