ShiverPeaks BS10-71075 video cable adapter

The ShiverPeaks BS10-71075 is a 10 m video cable adapter with a DisplayPort connector on one end and an HDMI connector on the other, designed to transfer high-quality video and audio between compatible devices. The cable supports straightforward, point-to-point connections from DisplayPort-equipped sources such as laptops or desktop graphics cards to HDMI displays including monitors, TVs and projectors. Its 10 m length allows flexible placement of source and display while the black outer jacket provides a neutral visual appearance for home or office setups.

Advantages

This DisplayPort to HDMI cable adapter offers a single-cable solution for transmitting digital video and audio without the need for separate converters. The 10 m length increases installation flexibility and reduces the need for extenders or intermediate adapters. The cable's standard connectors ensure wide compatibility with common DisplayPort sources and HDMI displays, while the durable outer jacket helps protect internal conductors during routine handling and placement.

Suitable for

• Connecting laptops with DisplayPort output to HDMI monitors or TVs
• Linking desktop PCs or workstations to external HDMI displays
• Using in meeting rooms or classrooms where the source and screen are separated
• Home multimedia setups that require a longer cable run from source to display

Key specifications

• Connector 1: DisplayPort
• Connector 2: HDMI
• Cable length: 10 m
• Product colour: Black
• Cable type: Video/audio digital signal cable

How to use

Connect the DisplayPort plug to the source device's DisplayPort output and the HDMI plug to the display's HDMI input. Ensure both devices are powered and set the display input to the corresponding HDMI port. If necessary, adjust the source device's display settings (resolution and refresh rate) to match the target display's supported modes. Avoid bending the cable sharply near the connectors to maintain signal integrity over the 10 m run.

Recommendations

For stable signal quality over the 10 m length, use the cable without additional passive adapters or splitters and ensure connectors are fully seated. If you experience compatibility issues, check the source device's DisplayPort output settings, update graphics drivers, or test with a shorter known-good cable to isolate potential faults. Route the cable to avoid sources of strong electromagnetic interference and secure it to prevent strain at the connector ends.
