ShiverPeaks BS82011-1 Coaxial Connector

The ShiverPeaks BS82011-1 coaxial connector is a single-pack cable connector designed with IEC connectors on both ends and nickel-plated contacts for dependable signal transmission. It is intended for audio and video setups where a standard coaxial IEC connection is required, providing a straightforward replacement or addition to existing cabling while focusing on contact durability and consistent performance.

Advantages

The connector’s nickel-plated contacts improve resistance to corrosion and maintain electrical conductivity over time. Having IEC connectors on both ends ensures compatibility with common consumer and professional devices that use standard coaxial IEC ports. Supplied as a single unit, the product is compact and simple to install, minimizing connection loss and maintaining a stable signal path for audio and video signals.

Suitable for

• Connecting TV tuners, set-top boxes and radios to antenna inputs
• Linking audio/video receivers and distribution amplifiers using IEC coaxial ports
• Replacing damaged or worn IEC coaxial connectors in home AV setups
• Temporary or permanent installations where standard coaxial IEC connectors are required

Key specifications

• Connector type: IEC coaxial on both ends
• Contact plating: nickel-plated contacts for enhanced durability
• Package quantity: single connector (one-piece pack)
• Intended use: audio and video signal transmission

How to use

Ensure devices are powered off before connecting. Align each IEC connector with the corresponding coaxial input or output on your devices and push firmly until the connectors seat fully. Avoid excessive force; a snug fit indicates proper connection. After installation, power the devices and verify signal quality. For removal, grip the connector body rather than pulling the cable to prevent strain on the connection.

Recommendations

For best results, use the connector in dry indoor environments and avoid bending the cable sharply at the connector interface. Periodically inspect contacts for signs of wear or corrosion and replace the connector if signal degradation or intermittent connections appear.
