ShiverPeaks Cat 7 U/UTP RJ45 Patch Cable – Model 08-35026, Network Patch Cable

ShiverPeaks Cat 7 U/UTP RJ45 patch cable (model 08-35026) is a network patch lead engineered for high-speed Ethernet connections that conform to Category 7 performance parameters. The cable uses unshielded twisted pairs (U/UTP) and standard RJ45 terminations to provide reliable patching between switches, routers, patch panels and workstations in LAN installations and data center patching scenarios. The product is suitable for short-distance link segments such as cabinet-to-switch and patch-panel-to-equipment connections.

Advantages

This Cat 7 U/UTP patch cable delivers Category 7 level signaling capability over unshielded twisted pairs with RJ45 connectors, offering compatibility with existing RJ45 network ports while supporting higher frequency performance than lower category cables. Its construction is intended to reduce near-end and far-end crosstalk typical for multi-pair assemblies in dense rack environments, and the standard RJ45 termination simplifies installation and replacement without specialized connectors.

Suitable for

• Patching switches to patch panels in server rooms and data/telecom cabinets
• Connecting routers and access devices to local network ports
• Linking workstations and desktops to network wall outlets
• Temporary or permanent cabinet-to-equipment patching in LAN installations

Key specifications

• Category: Cat 7 performance class over U/UTP
• Cable type: Unshielded twisted pair (U/UTP)
• Connector type: RJ45 on both ends
• Typical use: Ethernet patching for LAN and data center environments
• Color and length: available as a 1 m white patch lead (model variant shown)

How to use

Use the ShiverPeaks Cat 7 U/UTP RJ45 patch cable to interconnect networking equipment by inserting each RJ45 plug firmly into the corresponding jack until the latch clicks. Route the cable to avoid sharp bends and excessive tension, and keep it separate from sources of strong electromagnetic interference where possible. For best performance, use this cable for short patch connections inside cabinets, racks or between wall outlets and devices; do not use it as a permanent in-wall bulk cable if in-wall rated cable is required.

Recommendations

Inspect RJ45 terminations before use and replace the cable if connector damage or exposed conductors are observed. For predictable network performance, combine this Cat 7 patch lead with compatible Cat 7 or higher-rated infrastructure components and maintain recommended bend radius and strain relief practices during installation.
