Singularity G1/4 inch Stop Plug – Brass Threaded Plug for Liquid Cooling Fittings (SC-STOP-PLUG)

Singularity G1/4" Stop Plug is a brass threaded plug engineered for closing unused or service G1/4" ports in liquid cooling fittings and custom water-cooling loops. The solid brass body offers corrosion resistance and mechanical stability for temporary or long-term sealing of fill, drain, and inspection points in PC liquid-cooling systems. The compact, male G1/4" thread ensures compatibility with the wide range of industry-standard ports and fittings used in radiator, block, and reservoir assemblies.

Advantages

The brass construction provides durable corrosion resistance and dimensional stability under typical PC cooling temperatures. Threaded G1/4" engagement delivers reliable sealing and mechanical retention without adhesives. The plug's smooth external profile minimizes turbulence and allows simple access in tight spaces. Its straightforward design supports repeated installation and removal for maintenance, filling, or leak testing.

Suitable for

• Sealing unused G1/4" ports on radiators, water blocks, reservoirs, and fittings
• Temporary closure of fill or drain ports during system assembly or transport
• Providing leak-free access points during filling and pressure testing of loops
• Use in custom liquid-cooling setups where a compact, threaded plug is required

Key specifications

• Thread type: G1/4" male threaded plug compatible with standard G1/4" ports
• Material: solid brass body for corrosion resistance
• Intended use: sealing, filling, draining, and temporary closure of liquid-cooling ports
• Compatibility: industry-standard PC water-cooling fittings, radiators, reservoirs, and blocks with G1/4" threads
• Form factor: compact, low-profile threaded plug suitable for tight installations

How to use

Inspect the threaded port and plug for debris or damage before installation. Hand-start the plug into the G1/4" female thread, ensuring correct alignment to avoid cross-threading. Tighten the plug securely by hand; if additional torque is required, use an appropriate tool that engages the plug without deforming the brass surface. Do not overtighten beyond a snug fit. For removal, loosen the plug with the same tool or by hand, allowing safe draining or access to the port.

Recommendations

For reliable sealing, ensure mating threads are clean and dry; use a small amount of thread sealant or PTFE tape only if a higher degree of leak prevention is needed. Avoid excessive torque to prevent thread damage. Periodically inspect installed plugs during maintenance, especially if used in systems with frequent temperature cycling or aggressive coolant chemistries.
