SKYRC LipoPal battery checker and balancer for 2-6s LiPo

The SkyRC LiPoPal is a compact battery checker and self-voltage balancer designed for 2-6S LiPo battery packs. This portable device checks the voltage of each individual cell and the remaining capacity in percentage, while automatically balancing the cells when a voltage difference of more than 0.02V is detected. Connection is simple via the XH-type 7-pin connector, with results shown on the built-in LCD display. The balancer utilizes a balancing current of 50mA and ceases operation once the voltage difference drops to 0.01V or less, subsequently entering a sleep mode. Technical specifications include a voltage display tolerance of +/-1.5%, a resolution of 0.01v, and a measuring range of 0-5v, all housed in a lightweight casing measuring 70x38x11mm and weighing 23g.

The SKYRC LiPoPal checks the voltage of each cell in a lithium battery pack and displays the remaining capacity as a percentage. It also balances cell voltages by equalising them to the lowest cell voltage.

Balancing starts automatically about 5 seconds after the pack is connected if the voltage difference between cells exceeds 0.02 V. The corresponding “V” blinks during balancing. When the difference reaches 0.01 V or less, balancing ends, the device enters sleep mode and the LCD displays “SLP”.

Connect the battery pack to the 7-pin XH-type connector, aligning the negative lead or pin with the “Negative” marking on the LiPoPal housing. Once connected, the LCD displays each cell voltage and the built-in balancer checks the pack.
