SKYRC Power Switch 4-12V 10Amp

This tiny MCU-controlled on/off switch for radio-controlled models uses a simple push button to eliminate the intermittent contact issues of ordinary mechanical switches.

The sealed plastic unit operates within an input voltage range of 4-12V at a maximum current of 10 Amp and weighs 7g or less.

It features selectable battery modes for NiMH/NiCad or LiPo packs, including an integrated LiPo mode with low-voltage cutoff protection at 6.2V.

The switch includes two different bottom covers for versatile mounting options and features LEDs that indicate both the selected mode and the remaining battery capacity.

MCU-controlled power switch for RC models with LiPo low-voltage cut-off

The SkyRC POWER SWITCH is an MCU-controlled on/off switch for radio-controlled models. Its push button avoids the intermittent contact associated with a mechanical switch.

The sealed plastic unit can be mounted on a transponder mount or with double-sided tape; two interchangeable bottom covers are included.

In LiPo mode, the switch detects low voltage and cuts off power to protect the battery from over-discharging. This mode can be turned off when other safeguards are in place or a NiMH/NiCad battery is used.

The PWR LED indicates remaining battery capacity and battery condition.

With a NiMH/NiCad pack, press and hold the button for one second to switch on; the PWR LED lights up.

With a LiPo pack, hold it for more than three seconds; the PWR and LIPO LEDs light up.

In either mode, hold the button until all LEDs turn off to switch off.

The microprocessor-controlled on/off switch from SkyRC for RC models is operated by push button and avoids intermittent contacts of mechanical switches.

The sealed plastic housing can be mounted in the model with double-sided tape or via three mounting holes, for example on a transponder mount.

• Two different push button covers are included.

In activated LiPo mode, the switch automatically switches off at too low voltage to protect the LiPo from deep discharge. The mode can be deactivated for operation with NiMH/NiCd batteries or if other protective devices are present.

• The "PWR" LED shows the remaining battery capacity when switched on.

• NiMH/NiCad mode: To switch on, hold the switch pressed for one second; the "PWR" LED lights up. To switch off, hold the switch pressed until all LEDs are extinguished.
