Slot bracket Parallel flat DeLOCK 84476

The DeLOCK Slotblech Parallel Flat 84476 is a low-profile slot bracket that installs into an available expansion slot of a PC to provide an external connection for an internal parallel port. It is intended to route one parallel interface from inside the computer to an external flat connector, enabling connection of a parallel peripheral without internal access.

Advantages

This slot bracket is compact and fits low profile slots, provides a standard parallel flat connector for compatibility with common external parallel devices, and simplifies cable routing by bringing the internal port to the rear panel. The product is manufactured by DELOCK and matches typical motherboard parallel headers where applicable.

Suitable for

• Connecting an external parallel printer or other parallel peripheral to a desktop PC
• Retrofitting systems that lack a rear parallel port
• Laboratory or industrial setups requiring a rear-accessible parallel interface

Key specifications

• Brand: DELOCK
• Model / MPN: 84476
• EAN: 4043619844760
• Type: Low profile slot bracket for one parallel flat connection

How to use

Shut down the PC and unplug power. Remove the case cover and locate an empty low profile expansion slot at the rear. Insert the DeLOCK slot bracket into the slot and secure it with the slot screw or latch. Connect the internal parallel cable from the motherboard header or parallel interface card to the bracket’s internal connector. Reassemble the case and power on the system; the parallel device can then be connected to the external flat port on the bracket.

Recommendations

Ensure the internal header pinout on the motherboard or interface card matches the bracket connector before installation. Handle the bracket and internal cable with care to avoid bending pins; if unsure, consult the motherboard or device manual for parallel port wiring.
