Solid Rubber Angled Plug Bachmann 919171 (Right-Angle Mains Plug)

Bachmann 919171 is a right-angle full-rubber power plug designed to provide a durable and compact connection for mains-powered equipment. The plug combines a flexible rubber housing with a right-angle form factor to reduce cable strain, improve grip during handling, and save space behind furniture or equipment racks. It is intended for use where a low-profile connection and mechanical protection of the cable entry are required.

Advantages

The full-rubber construction offers shock absorption and resistance to abrasion while providing an improved tactile grip. The right-angle design decreases bending stress at the cable outlet, helping prolong cable life and enabling neater cable routing in confined spaces. The compact profile supports installation behind desks, appliances, and cabinets where straight plugs would protrude.

Suitable for

• Home audio/video equipment and household appliances where space behind the device is limited
• Office computers, monitors and peripherals with close wall or furniture proximity
• Light industrial or workshop machinery with compatible mains sockets
• Temporary installations and areas requiring cable strain relief and mechanical protection

Key specifications

• Connector orientation: right-angle
• Housing material: full rubber for mechanical protection and flexibility
• Intended use: mains power connection for compatible electrical devices
• Design feature: low-profile shape for reduced protrusion behind equipment
• Grip: textured rubber surface for easier insertion and removal

How to use

Insert the plug firmly into a compatible mains socket until fully seated. Ensure the cable is routed so the right-angle exit aligns with the desired direction to minimize bending at the cable entry point. Inspect the rubber housing and cable periodically for signs of wear or damage and disconnect power before performing any maintenance or cable replacement.

Recommendations

Use the right-angle full-rubber plug in applications where space saving and cable strain relief are priorities. Avoid exposing the rubber housing to sharp chemicals or excessive heat. For safety, do not use the plug with damaged cables or sockets and follow local electrical codes when installing or replacing mains connectors.
