Staedtler 308 Multi fineliner black

The Staedtler 308 Multi Black fineliner offers a multi-point tip designed for versatile precision in writing, sketching and technical drawing. The pen uses black ink housed in a slim grey barrel that balances comfort with control, delivering consistent line quality for detailed tasks. This single-unit fineliner is suitable for environments that require accuracy and reliability from a compact writing tool.

Advantages

The multi-point tip provides flexible line widths while maintaining fine detail, and the black ink ensures high contrast on standard paper. The slim grey body is lightweight for extended use and allows good handling for both fast note-taking and careful illustration. The construction emphasizes steady ink flow and a tip designed to resist fraying under normal use.

Suitable for

• Technical drawings and diagrams
• Sketching, inking and illustration work
• Detailed note-taking and annotations
• School and university assignments
• Office paperwork and forms

Key specifications

• Tip type: multi-point fineliner tip for variable stroke widths
• Ink color: black
• Barrel color: grey
• Form factor: slim, single-pen design
• Suitable media: paper and common drawing surfaces

How to use

Hold the fineliner at a comfortable angle to the paper to achieve the desired line thickness; a steeper angle generally produces a thinner line while a flatter angle produces a slightly broader stroke. Apply gentle, even pressure and move the pen smoothly to maintain consistent ink flow. Store the pen capped when not in use to prevent the tip from drying out and to preserve ink performance.

Recommendations

For best results, use on standard drawing or copy paper and replace the pen if you observe any significant change in line consistency. Keep capped between sessions and avoid pressing excessively on the tip to extend lifespan.
