Stanley STST81680-1 Storage Tray Rectangular Polypropylene Black Yellow

The Stanley STST81680-1 storage tray is a rectangular organizer molded from durable polypropylene in black and yellow. With external dimensions of approximately 272 mm width, 189 mm depth and 46 mm height, the tray provides a shallow, stable container for sorting and storing hand tools, fasteners and small parts. Its compact footprint fits inside compatible toolboxes, workbenches or storage drawers while the rigid construction resists cracking and everyday wear.

Advantages

The polypropylene material offers a balance of impact resistance and light weight, allowing repeated use in workshop or mobile environments without adding significant weight. The rectangular shape and defined walls keep items separated and accessible while the shallow height makes it quick to scan contents. The contrasting black and yellow finish improves visibility of small parts and helps the tray stand out among other storage components.

How to use

Place the tray on a stable surface, inside a compatible toolbox or in a drawer. Arrange tools and small parts in the tray so frequently used items sit toward the front for quick access. For separation of different item types, use multiple trays or add small removable dividers if desired. Clean the tray with a damp cloth to remove dust, oil or debris; avoid strong solvents that could affect the plastic over time.

Recommendations

For efficient workflow, label the front edge of the tray or use colour-coding to identify contents. When stacking or inserting the tray into a toolbox, ensure it sits flat and does not overload the drawer to maintain easy removal and prevent damage.
