Surge protector Qoltec 50270 Grey 5 AC outlets 230V

The Qoltec 50270 Grey surge protector provides five AC outlets and a 1.8 m cable to organize and power multiple devices from a single source. Its compact grey housing (42 mm width, 0.429 kg) is designed to be placed on the floor, mounted on furniture or kept near a TV or under a desk. The unit is certified under EU 2002/96/EC and includes built-in protection features to reduce the risk of damage from voltage spikes.

Advantages

The surge protector offers a backlit footswitch for easy on/off control without bending down, a fire-resistant polypropylene housing and integrated varistor-based surge protection to guard connected equipment against voltage surges. Child-safe socket covers are included to prevent accidental contact with live contacts. The product’s compact form and cable-management option allow tidy installation in home or office environments.

Keep the cable routed safely to avoid tripping hazards and do not cover the housing while in use to ensure ventilation.

Recommendations

Do not connect devices that exceed the combined rated current of the surge protector. Inspect the unit and cable regularly for damage; discontinue use if the housing or cable is damaged. The surge protector provides additional protection against voltage spikes but does not guarantee complete immunity from all power events—sensitive equipment may require dedicated protection.
