Tefal OptiGrill + GC717810 Contact Grill

The Tefal OptiGrill GC717810 is a 2000W contact grill in a rectangular form factor designed for countertop use. With a compact footprint of 365 mm x 365 mm x 175 mm and a black finish, the unit combines strong heating performance with a space-conscious design. The grill offers simple button controls, automatic cooking programs and indicator lights that monitor doneness to help achieve consistent results when grilling meats, vegetables and sandwiches.

Advantages

The OptiGrill GC717810 delivers fast heat-up and stable temperature thanks to its 2000 W power rating, which shortens cooking time and supports even browning. Automatic cooking programs and visual indicator lights reduce the need for manual timing and make it easier to reach the desired level of doneness. Its rectangular plates provide a larger usable grilling surface compared with many round contact grills, and the compact dimensions make it suitable for kitchens with limited counter space.

How to use

Place the grill on a stable, heat-resistant surface and connect it to a compatible power outlet. Preheat the grill using the recommended program or by activating the manual heating function; indicator lights will signal when the cooking surface has reached operating temperature. Position food items on the lower plate, lower the top plate gently and select an automatic program or cook manually following the manufacturer’s guidance for thickness and type of food. Monitor the indicator lights for doneness and, when cooking is complete, lift the top plate and remove food using heatproof utensils.

Recommendations

For best results, allow the grill to preheat fully and avoid overcrowding the plates to ensure even cooking. Use moderate quantities of oil or a cooking spray when necessary to prevent sticking, and clean the plates according to the manufacturer’s instructions after the appliance has cooled.
