Telegärtner Cat.6A Network Cable 2m Violet

The Telegärtner Cat.6A 2m Violet networking cable provides a 2-meter connection with RJ-45 connectors on both ends, finished in a distinctive violet jacket. Designed for Cat6A performance, the cable supports high-speed data transmission for structured cabling in residential and small office networks. Its construction balances flexibility and mechanical protection to maintain signal integrity over the specified length.

Advantages

The cable offers certified Cat6A-level electrical performance suited for Gigabit and 10 Gigabit Ethernet applications at the supported distances. The factory-assembled RJ-45 connectors ensure consistent contact quality and simplified installation without the need for field termination. The violet jacket provides easy visual identification in crowded cable runs and aids in organized cable management. The cable's sheathing and connector strain relief reduce stress at termination points, improving durability under regular use.

Suitable for

• Home network connections between router, switch and desktop or media device
• Office workstation cabling and patch panel to switch links
• Small server or NAS connections that require reliable high-speed links
• Color-coded structured cabling installations for easy maintenance

Key specifications

• Category: Cat6A performance class
• Length: 2 m
• Connector type: RJ-45 plug on both ends
• Conductor: twisted-pair copper (shielding not specified)
• Supported network speeds: Gigabit Ethernet and 10 Gigabit Ethernet at appropriate distances
• Outer jacket color: violet
• Design: factory-terminated patch cable with strain relief

How to use

Connect one RJ-45 plug to the network port on your router, switch or patch panel and the other plug to the Ethernet port on the target device. Avoid sharp bends and excessive pulling during installation to preserve conductor integrity. Route the cable through cable management channels or along designated paths to maintain separation from power lines and reduce potential interference. For permanent installations, verify that the 2 m length meets the planned routing path and do not exceed bend radius recommendations at connector points.

Recommendations

Use this Cat.6A 2 m cable for short patch runs where high data throughput and visual identification are required. Inspect connectors before use and replace the cable if the jacket or plugs show visible damage. For environments with elevated electromagnetic interference or for runs beyond recommended distances for 10 Gb/s, consider using shielded cabling or higher-grade infrastructure as needed.
