Televes 413503 Coaxial Cable 500m White

The Televes 413503 coaxial cable delivers 500 meters of 75 Ω transmission line in a white outer sheath suitable for a range of signal distribution tasks. Designed to provide stable impedance and low attenuation, this cable is intended for installations that require consistent RF performance for television, satellite and data signals. The construction balances durability and flexibility for both indoor routing and protected outdoor runs.

Advantages

This coaxial cable provides a consistent 75 Ω characteristic impedance to minimise reflections and signal degradation over long runs. Its 500 m length reduces the need for joins in extended installations. The white jacket offers a neat appearance for visible runs and contributes to basic environmental protection against moisture and abrasion. The cable is manufactured to maintain low insertion loss and predictable shielding performance for common broadcast and distribution frequencies.

Suitable for

• TV antenna and terrestrial television distribution
• Satellite signal cabling in protected or conduit-installed segments
• RF distribution in apartment buildings, hotels and commercial premises
• Low-loss runs between tuners, splitters, amplifiers and wall outlets

Key specifications

• Nominal impedance: 75 Ω
• Length: 500 m
• Outer jacket colour: white
• Typical use: RF and video signal transmission
• Construction: coaxial geometry with centre conductor, dielectric, shield and outer jacket

How to use

Plan the cable route to avoid sharp bends and sources of strong electromagnetic interference. Terminate the cable with appropriate 75 Ω connectors and compression or crimp fittings compatible with the chosen male/female interfaces. For installations that cross outdoor sections, run the cable in conduit or under appropriate protection to reduce UV and moisture exposure. When cutting and preparing the cable ends, follow standard coaxial stripping techniques to maintain shield integrity and correct conductor length to the connector specifications.

Recommendations

For best long-term performance, avoid kinking the cable, maintain bend radii recommended by the connector or cable manufacturer, and use quality 75 Ω connectors and splitters. In installations requiring extended outdoor exposure, place the cable inside UV-resistant conduit or protective trunking and check connections for corrosion periodically.
