Tenda TEM2007X Network Switch 2.5G Ethernet 5 Ports

Tenda TEM2007X is a compact 5-port desktop switch that provides five RJ-45 ports with 2.5G Ethernet speed support (100/1000/2500) and two 10G SFP+ slots. Designed for small offices, homes and wireless networking scenarios, the switch connects computers, NAS devices, TV set-top boxes and Wi‑Fi 6/7 access points to create a high‑speed local network. The device supports standard Ethernet protocols and offers a MAC address table sized to handle multiple devices and a switching capacity suitable for small to medium traffic environments.

Advantages

The TEM2007X combines multi‑gigabit RJ‑45 ports and 10G SFP+ uplinks in a compact, desktop form factor, enabling faster wired connections for devices without replacing cabling. It supports common IEEE Ethernet standards for broad compatibility and provides a 16,000‑entry MAC address table and 65 Gbit/s switching capacity to manage simultaneous traffic flows. The black enclosure is suited for office and home installations.

Suitable for

• Small and medium offices (SMEs)
• Small office / home office (SOHO) environments
• Home networks with NAS and media streaming devices
• Wireless networking setups with Wi‑Fi 6/7 access points
• Villas or residences requiring multi‑gigabit wired connections

Key specifications

• Ports: 5 × RJ‑45 (2.5G Ethernet: 100/1000/2500), 2 × 10G SFP+ slots
• MAC address table: 16,000 entries
• Switching capacity: 65 Gbit/s
• Supported standards: IEEE 802.3, 802.3u, 802.3ab, 802.3z, 802.3ae, 802.3bz, 802.3x
• Colour: Black

How to use

Place the switch on a stable desktop surface and connect power. Use Ethernet cables to link computers, NAS, set‑top boxes or access points to the RJ‑45 ports; the ports will negotiate the best supported speed up to 2.5 Gbit/s. Use the 10G SFP+ slots for high‑speed uplinks or connections to compatible fiber modules or switches. Monitor link LEDs to confirm connection status and replace cables or transceivers if a link does not establish.

Recommendations

For optimal performance in mixed‑speed environments, connect high‑bandwidth devices (NAS, servers, uplinks) to the 2.5G or 10G ports and use Cat5e or better cabling for multi‑gigabit links. Place the switch in a ventilated location and ensure compatible SFP+ modules are used for fiber connections.
