TESA 56261-00000-00 Masking Tape

tesa® Masking Tape for wallpaper (TESA 56261-00000-00) is an extra-thin paper contour liner designed for precise painting where painted areas meet wallpaper. The pink tape is formulated for safe adhesion on sensitive and valuable surfaces, offering reliable stickiness on smooth substrates and residue-free removal within 7 days. It is solvent-free and compatible with all paints; roll size: 25 m x 38 mm (EAN 4042448150035).

Advantages

The tape’s extra-thin paper allows sharp paint edges and prevents paint bleed under the tape. A solvent-free adhesive provides secure adhesion on flat surfaces while enabling non-destructive, residue-free removal for up to 7 days. Its pink colour identifies it as suitable for sensitive or high-value wallpapers and other delicate surfaces.

Suitable for

• Creating precise edges between painted areas and wallpaper
• Protecting expensive or sensitive wallpapers during painting
• Painting around door and window frames adjacent to wallpaper
• Professional and DIY interior renovation tasks requiring exact lines

Recommendations

For best results, test the tape on a small, inconspicuous area of the wallpaper first. Do not exceed the 7-day removal window to minimize risk of adhesive residue or surface damage. Store the tape in a cool, dry place away from direct sunlight.
