TFA-Dostmann 31.3001.06 pH Meter

The pH meter TFA‑Dostmann 31.3001.06 is a compact handheld instrument for measuring the acidity or alkalinity of aqueous solutions and the current temperature. It measures pH on the standard 0–14 scale and displays results on an LED screen. The built‑in thermometer provides automatic temperature compensation for more accurate pH readings. The device is splashproof to IP65 and powered by a 3V battery; its dimensions are 225 mm × 35 mm × 20 mm.

Advantages

The TFA‑Dostmann 31.3001.06 gives simultaneous pH and temperature readouts with automatic temperature compensation, a HOLD function to freeze measured values on the LED display, and simple calibration to maintain accuracy. Its splashproof IP65 rating allows cleaning under running water, and the compact, battery‑powered design supports portable use indoors and outdoors.

Suitable for

• Aquarium and pond water testing
• Drinking and heating water quality checks
• Swimming pool water monitoring
• Food and cosmetic production quality control
• Laboratory and field measurements

How to use

Remove the pH meter from its storage container and switch it on. Rinse the electrode with distilled or tap water and immerse it in the sample solution so that the electrode is covered. Wait until the reading stabilises, then press HOLD to freeze the displayed values if needed. After measurement, rinse the electrode and return the device to its storage container filled with the supplied special solution to prevent the electrode from drying out. Calibrate the meter regularly following the manufacturer’s instructions to ensure continued accuracy.

Recommendations

The pH results depend on temperature; use the automatic temperature compensation and calibrate the device before critical measurements. Clean the electrode after each use and store it in the supplied solution to extend electrode life. Avoid prolonged exposure to strong acids, bases or solvents that may damage the electrode.
