How to choose
High strength (red)
Prevents bolts and press fits of 10 to 25 mm (3/8 to 1-1/2 inch) from loosening due to shock, severe vibration and heat stress.
High temperature
The red grade is described as a formulation for newer engines and high performance uses that need extreme temperature resistance.
Medium strength (blue)
All-purpose grade for nuts and bolts of 6 to 20 mm (1/4 to 3/4 inch). It locks and seals, and protects threads from corrosion.
Removal
The blue grade can be removed with hand tools for easy disassembly, which suits parts that need servicing later.
