TOMTOM Webfleet LINK 7xx iButton Reader — iButton access key reader for fleet devices

The TOMTOM Webfleet iButton Reader LINK 7xx is an accessory designed to work with Webfleet LINK 7xx fleet devices to read iButton identification tokens. It enables driver authentication and access control by reading unique iButton IDs and communicating them to the connected LINK device for processing within the fleet management system. The reader is intended for installation in vehicles where reliable, contact-based identification of drivers or personnel is required.

Advantages

The iButton Reader provides a simple, contact-based method to identify drivers and log driver activity without relying on PINs or cards. Its compatibility with Webfleet LINK 7xx devices allows direct integration into existing fleet setups for consistent driver identification and access control. The device supports quick reads of iButton tokens, enabling efficient shift changes and accurate logging of driver presence or vehicle use.

Suitable for

• Driver identification for fleet vehicles
• Logging driver shifts and duty times
• Restricting vehicle start or functionality based on authorized iButton IDs
• Integration with fleet management systems for access control and auditing
