TP-Link Omada AX3000 Ceiling-Mount WiFi 6 Access Point

The AX3000 Ceiling Mount WiFi 6 Access Point delivers dual‑band AX3000 performance with up to 2402 Mbps on 5 GHz and 574 Mbps on 2.4 GHz. Designed for business environments, it combines WiFi 6 efficiency, Omada SDN centralized cloud management, PoE+ and DC power options, and a compact slimline housing for discreet ceiling installation.

Advantages

High‑efficiency WiFi 6 improves overall throughput when multiple devices are connected. Omada SDN enables centralized management locally or from the cloud through a web UI or the Omada app. HE160 channel support increases peak single‑stream capacity, while seamless roaming and Omada Mesh maintain uninterrupted voice and video as users move. The access point supports 802.3at PoE+ and includes a 12V DC adapter for flexible deployment. Its ultra‑slim Φ160 × 33.6 mm design fits modern office, hotel, classroom, or café ceilings.

How to use

Mount the access point on the ceiling using the included mounting hardware, connect a Gigabit Ethernet cable to the LAN port and supply power via 802.3at PoE+ or the supplied 12V DC adapter. Configure network settings through the Omada controller (local or cloud) using the web UI or the Omada mobile app. Enable mesh and roaming features as needed to extend coverage and ensure smooth client handoff between EAPs. Adjust channel selection and transmit power manually or allow the controller to optimize them automatically.

Recommendations

For best performance in busy environments, enable HE160 where supported, place access points to minimize physical obstructions, and use PoE+ switches for simplified installations. Monitor the network via the Omada controller and adjust placement or channel settings if interference is detected.
