Triton RAB-UP-X30-A1 rack accessory

The Triton RAB-UP-X30-A1 is a 1U rack accessory designed to improve organization and support small equipment inside standard 19-inch racks. With a compact height of 45 mm and a depth of 350 mm, this shelf provides a stable surface for devices where vertical space is limited. The unit accommodates loads up to 30 kg and is finished in black to blend with typical rack interiors.

Advantages

This 1U shelf offers a space-efficient solution for mounting non-rackmountable devices, tools, or cables while preserving valuable rack units. The shallow 350 mm depth and 45 mm height enable flexible placement in dense installations. Its 30 kg load capacity ensures reliable support for small switches, power supplies, or network accessories. The black finish provides a discreet appearance and helps maintain a uniform rack aesthetic.

Suitable for

• Mounting small network switches, wireless access points, or mini servers
• Organizing power supplies, UPS modules or battery packs that do not have rack ears
• Storing cable organizers, patch panels accessories or monitoring devices
• Temporary placement of tools and spare parts during rack maintenance

Key specifications

• Rack height: 1U (45 mm)
• Maximum load capacity: 30 kg
• Depth: 350 mm
• Colour: Black
• Mounting type: Front-mounted 19" rack accessory

How to use

Install the Triton RAB-UP-X30-A1 into a free 1U position in a compatible 19-inch rack using appropriate mounting screws and cage nuts. Position the shelf at the required height and fasten securely to the rack rails. Place equipment on the shelf ensuring the combined weight does not exceed 30 kg and that airflow around installed devices is not obstructed. For items that may shift, use straps or mounting brackets to secure them to the shelf.

Recommendations

Verify rack rail alignment and use correct hardware rated for your rack before installation. Distribute load evenly across the shelf, avoid overloading beyond 30 kg, and leave clearance for ventilation of heat-generating equipment. For heavy or vibration-sensitive devices consider additional fastening or a deeper shelf variant.
