Univers E180VHS video cassette

The Univers E180VHS is a standard VHS video cassette designed for recording up to 180 minutes of video on a single tape. The cassette contains 295 meters of magnetic tape with a thickness of 17 µm and a tape width of 1.26 cm, offering a balance of recording time and tape durability. The shell follows the conventional VHS form factor for compatibility with most VHS recorders and VCR players.

Advantages

The cassette provides extended recording time suitable for long events or multi-episode recordings without changing tapes. The 17 µm magnetic layer and robust tape construction contribute to consistent playback quality and reduced risk of breakage during normal use. The familiar VHS format and standard shell dimensions ensure broad compatibility with existing VHS equipment and easy storage in typical cassette libraries.

Suitable for

• Recording TV broadcasts, movies and home videos
• Archiving and preserving analog footage
• Transferring analog recordings to digital formats
• Use in VHS players, VCRs and camcorders that accept standard VHS tapes
