USB 3.0 A Extension Cable DeLOCK 82754 3 m

The DeLOCK USB 3.0 A M/F Cable (3 m) supports USB 3.2 Gen 1 (also referred to as USB 3.1 Gen 1) and provides SuperSpeed data transfer up to 5 Gb/s. The cable features gold-plated connector contacts and a metal housing for durability and reliable contact. It is backward compatible with USB 2.0 and USB 1.1 devices and has an increased conductor gauge for data and power lines to maintain a stable connection between devices and a computer.

Advantages

The cable offers SuperSpeed data rates up to 5 Gb/s and backward compatibility with older USB standards. Gold-plated contacts improve corrosion resistance and signal quality, while the metal connector housing increases mechanical durability. The thicker conductors for data and power lines help ensure stable power delivery and reduced signal loss over the 3 m length.

Suitable for

• Extending connection between a computer and USB devices with A-type connectors
• Connecting external storage, printers or other peripherals over a longer distance
• Applications requiring USB 3.2 Gen 1 / USB 3.0 SuperSpeed transfer rates

Key specifications

• Connector 1: USB A (male)
• Connector 2: USB A (female)
• USB version: USB 3.2 Gen 1 (USB 3.1 Gen 1 / USB 3.0), up to 5 Gb/s
• Cable length: 3 m
• Contacts: gold-plated
• Housing: metal

How to use

Plug the male USB A connector into a USB port on your computer or host device and connect the female USB A end to the cable or device you wish to extend. The connector is backward compatible, so devices using USB 2.0 or USB 1.1 will function at their respective speeds. Ensure connectors are fully seated to maintain a stable data and power connection.

Recommendations

For optimal performance, use the cable with devices and ports that support USB 3.2 Gen 1 to achieve SuperSpeed transfer rates. Avoid tight bends near the connectors and keep the cable away from strong electromagnetic sources to reduce the risk of interference. If you experience reduced speed, check that both connected devices and the host port support USB 3.x and that connectors are clean and fully inserted.
