USB Graphics Adapter PureLink IS181 Black

Premium USB-C to High Speed HDMI Adapter (Alt Mode) with a 0.10 m portsaver cable in black. The PureLink iSeries adapter connects USB-C source devices—such as laptops, PCs or set‑top boxes—with HDMI display devices like TVs and projectors. It transmits audio and video over Alt Mode at full bandwidth for up to 4K@60Hz with 4:4:4 color sampling. A short, flexible portsaver cable and an ABS housing protect the host connector and provide a compact, transportable solution.

Advantages

The adapter supports full-bandwidth 4K/UltraHD signals when the source and display allow it, and carries both video and audio in one connection. The slim ABS connector housing and approximately 0.10 m portsaver cable reduce stress on device ports. Gold- or nickel-plated contacts ensure reliable signal transfer, and the compact black design is lightweight for mobile use. The iSeries product family also covers adapters for multiple A/V signal types and offers models with Power Delivery and OTG functions where applicable.

Suitable for

• Connecting USB-C laptops or PCs to HDMI TVs and projectors
• Extending or mirroring displays for presentations and meetings
• Home entertainment setups requiring 4K@60Hz output
• Mobile workstations where a compact, durable adapter is needed

How to use

Connect the USB-C plug of the adapter to a compatible USB-C port on your source device that supports DisplayPort Alt Mode. Plug the HDMI cable from your display device into the adapter's HDMI socket. Power on both devices and select the appropriate HDMI input on the display. If both source and display support the required bandwidth, the adapter will transmit audio and video up to 4K@60Hz. No drivers are required for basic Alt Mode operation; for advanced features or compatibility with certain systems, follow any manufacturer instructions provided with your source device.

Recommendations

Use the adapter with devices that explicitly support USB-C DisplayPort Alt Mode for best results. Avoid forcing the portsaver cable at sharp angles and keep the adapter and connectors free of dust. For stable high-resolution output, use high-quality HDMI cables rated for the required bandwidth and ensure source and display firmware/drivers are up to date.
