The VALUE 12.99.3130 is a compact 0.15 m video cable adapter with a Mini DisplayPort connector on one end and an HDMI Type A (Standard) connector on the other. It enables connection of devices that output via Mini DisplayPort—such as laptops, tablets, or docking stations—to HDMI-equipped displays, TVs or projectors, transmitting digital video and audio signals. With overall dimensions of 44 mm x 44 mm x 14 mm and a black finish, the adapter is designed for portability and straightforward plug-and-play operation without additional drivers.

Its short 0.15 m length and compact housing reduce cable clutter and fit easily into laptop bags or AV kits. The simple plug-and-play design allows immediate use with compatible equipment, and the solid connector housings and shielding help maintain signal integrity for clear picture and sound.

How to use

Insert the Mini DisplayPort connector into the Mini DisplayPort output on your source device and plug the HDMI Type A connector into the HDMI input of your display or projector. Select the appropriate HDMI input on the display. Most systems will automatically detect the external display and mirror or extend the desktop; adjust display settings in the operating system if needed for resolution, orientation, or audio output selection. There is no separate power supply or driver installation required for standard setups.

Recommendations

Use the adapter with devices that support audio over Mini DisplayPort if audio transmission is required; otherwise, configure a separate audio connection. Avoid excessive bending of the short cable and ensure connectors are fully seated to maintain a stable signal. Check the source device’s maximum supported resolution and refresh rate to ensure compatibility with the connected HDMI display.
