VIOFO A229 Pro 2CH-G GPS Video Recorder

VIOFO A229 PRO 2CH 4K + 2K WiFi, GPS video recorder

The VIOFO A229 PRO 2CH is a reliable video recorder that redefines video standards with dual recording in 4K UHD resolution on the front camera and 2K QHD on the rear camera. Using the latest Sony STARVIS 2 technology, the device offers exceptional image quality, capturing every detail both day and night. It is an indispensable tool for drivers who value safety and comfort at the highest level.

Revolutionary Sony STARVIS 2 sensors

The VIOFO A229 PRO is the first in the industry to use two advanced Sony STARVIS 2 sensors. The IMX678 front sensor and IMX675 rear sensor provide impressive dynamic range and excellent light sensitivity. As a result, they eliminate noise and blur, delivering exceptionally sharp and detailed footage in all lighting conditions.

Amazing image quality

The front camera records in stunning 4K quality thanks to the Sony STARVIS 2 IMX678 1/1.8-inch sensor. The higher pixel count allows it to capture even the finest details, providing excellent visibility of license plates or road markings. The rear camera with IMX675 sensor offers 2K resolution and up to 2.5 times wider dynamic range than the previous generation, ensuring clear recordings even at night.

Advanced HDR technology

The integrated HDR technology in both cameras effectively balances light and dark areas of the image. As a result, the A229 PRO excels in challenging lighting conditions, such as sudden light changes, glare and night driving. Every detail, from road signs to license plates, remains clear and legible.

Intelligent voice control and notifications

An advanced voice control system allows you to conveniently manage your device without taking your hands off the wheel. A simple command is all it takes to start or stop recording, take a photo or activate Wi-Fi. The video recorder also notifies you of potential problems, such as memory card errors, giving you full control over its operation. The video recorder supports voice control in English, Chinese, Russian and Japanese.

Fast data transfer via Wi-Fi and USB

Built-in 5 GHz Wi-Fi enables instant transfer of recordings to a smartphone. Alternatively, with a USB-C connection, downloads can reach speeds as fast as 20 MB/s, which is especially useful for large 4K files. This feature also streamlines software updates, providing continuous access to new features.

Around-the-clock parking monitoring

The VIOFO A229 PRO offers three parking monitoring modes: automatic event detection, time-lapse recording and low bit rate recording. The system instantly records suspicious movements around the vehicle, recording footage 15 seconds before and 30 seconds after the event, making it an indispensable guardian of your car.

Accurate GPS module

Thanks to its advanced Quad-Mode GPS module, the video recorder tracks the vehicle's position with unprecedented precision. It supports as many as four satellite systems: GPS, BeiDou, Galileo and GLONASS, ensuring stable and fast location determination. The route, speed and driving time can be replayed on the saved recordings.

Safety features

The A229 PRO automatically overwrites the oldest recordings to provide space for new files. Thanks to the built-in G-sensor, any sudden braking, collision or shock is immediately recorded and protected from deletion.

Convenient display and intuitive operation

The 2.4-inch HD screen provides convenient viewing of recordings and intuitive menu navigation. The video recorder's clever design makes it easy to install and operate, making it the perfect companion for any trip. Indulge yourself in comfort and confidence behind the wheel - choose the A229 PRO.

Recommendations

Use a high-endurance microSD card from a reputable brand and format it in the camera before first use. Position the front camera to reduce reflections and ensure the wide-angle lens covers the desired field of view. Check VIOFO firmware updates periodically and back up important footage to external storage to avoid data loss.
