Vision TC 2MDP8K/BL DisplayPort Cable 2 m Black

The Vision TC 2MDP8K/BL 2 m DisplayPort cable is a two-connector video and audio cable designed for connecting PCs, laptops and monitors that support DisplayPort. With a 2 m length and a 7.3 mm diameter, this black cable is built to provide reliable signal transmission for high-resolution displays while remaining flexible enough for desktop and home office setups.

Advantages

This DisplayPort cable delivers stable digital video and audio transfer through two standardized DisplayPort connectors, reducing the need for adapters. The 2 m length offers a balance between reach and cable management, and the 7.3 mm diameter contributes to mechanical durability while maintaining flexibility for routing behind desks and monitors. The black finish provides a neutral appearance that integrates with most AV setups.

Suitable for

• Connecting a desktop PC or laptop to a DisplayPort-compatible monitor
• Multi-monitor arrangements where a 2 m cable length is practical
• Home office and professional workstations requiring high-quality video and audio transmission
• Replacing a worn or lost DisplayPort cable with a standard two-connector cable

Key specifications

• Cable length: 2 m
• Connector type: DisplayPort to DisplayPort
• Cable diameter: 7.3 mm
• Colour: Black

How to use

Ensure both source and display devices support DisplayPort input/output. Firmly insert one DisplayPort connector into the source device and the other into the monitor’s DisplayPort input until the latch clicks, if present. Select the appropriate input on the monitor and configure display settings in the operating system as needed to set resolution, refresh rate and audio routing. When disconnecting, press the connector latch (if applicable) and pull evenly to avoid stressing the cable ends.

Recommendations

For optimal performance, route the cable without sharp bends and avoid placing heavy objects on it. Use the 2 m length to keep the cable tidy and reduce signal interference by separating it from power cords and large electrical devices.
