Vivolink Cable Trunking 2m White

The Straight cable tray Hager LF1501509010 from VivoLink is a PVC cable management channel designed for routing and protecting electrical wiring in residential, commercial and light industrial environments. The tray has a lateral cross-section of 150 mm², external width and depth of 15 mm, and a standard length of 2 m. Its rigid PVC construction provides mechanical protection for grouped cables while remaining lightweight for easier handling during installation.

Advantages

The PVC construction gives the cable tray corrosion resistance and electrical insulation, reducing risk in environments where metal trays would require additional treatment. With its compact 15 mm width and depth profile and 2 m length, the product supports orderly cable runs while minimising visual impact. The straight design simplifies alignment and connection of adjacent trays and accessories, and the smooth interior surface facilitates cable pulling and prevents undue abrasion.

Suitable for

• Routing low-voltage and signal cables along walls and ceilings
• Neat cable runs inside control cabinets, distribution boards and service ducts
• Lighting and data cable installations in offices and residential buildings
• Temporary or permanent installations where lightweight, non-metallic tray is preferred

Key specifications

• Material: rigid PVC providing electrical insulation and chemical resistance
• Lateral cross-section: 150 mm²
• External width: 15 mm
• External depth: 15 mm
• Length: 2 m
• Color: typically neutral (product supplied in standard finish for PVC components)
• Design: straight tray profile for linear cable runs

How to use

Select the appropriate run length and fix the tray to the mounting surface using compatible brackets or fasteners suitable for PVC. Align tray ends and secure joints with recommended connectors or support clamps to maintain continuous support. Lay cables inside the tray without exceeding the specified fill for the lateral cross-section; avoid sharp bends and maintain separation of power and sensitive signal cables where required by project standards. Trim the tray ends if necessary with suitable cutting tools, deburr cut edges, and ensure that any fastening hardware does not damage the tray body.

Recommendations

For reliable performance, avoid prolonged exposure to direct sunlight or chemical solvents that can affect PVC properties. Use supports at regular intervals to prevent sagging and follow local electrical codes for cable segregation, earthing and mounting heights. When installing near heat sources or in high-temperature environments, verify temperature ratings for PVC materials and select alternative solutions if necessary.
