Water Pump Pliers ks tools 115.2012 300 mm, Push-Button Adjustable

Adjustable water pump pliers by ks tools, 300 mm length with a push-button adjustment mechanism, provide a versatile gripping solution for pipes, fittings and varied fasteners. The tool features serrated jaws and an adjustable pivot that allows rapid changes in jaw opening through a push-button control, enabling secure clamping across a wide range of diameters. The pliers are intended for repetitive gripping and turning tasks in plumbing, mechanical maintenance and general workshop operations where controlled jaw reach and reliable bite are required.

Advantages

The push-button adjustment permits quick and precise jaw positioning without manual repositioning of the pivot, reducing setup time between grips. A hardened, serrated jaw profile improves grip on smooth and threaded surfaces while minimizing slippage. The full-length design gives increased leverage for turning stubborn fittings and fasteners, and the handle ergonomics provide a secure hold during sustained use. Materials and heat treatment ensure durability under normal workshop loads.

Suitable for

• Gripping and turning metal and plastic pipes
• Adjusting and holding fittings and couplings
• Maintenance and repair tasks in plumbing and HVAC
• General workshop clamping and assembly operations

Key specifications

• Total length: 300 mm
• Adjustment type: push-button rapid adjustment
• Jaw type: serrated gripping jaws for round and flat profiles
• Material: forged steel with heat treatment for strength
• Handle: non-slip grip for improved control

How to use

Open the pliers to the required jaw width by pressing the push-button and sliding the movable jaw until it aligns with the desired position. Release the button to lock the jaw in place, position the jaws around the workpiece and apply steady pressure to grip. Use controlled leverage with the handles to turn pipes or fasteners; avoid sudden twisting or excessive impact. After use, wipe the tool clean and store in a dry place to prevent corrosion and preserve the adjustment mechanism.

Recommendations

Use the pliers within their mechanical limits: select a jaw position that ensures multiple teeth engage the workpiece to reduce slippage. Avoid using the tool as a hammer or prying device. Regularly inspect the push-button mechanism and jaws for wear and remove debris to maintain reliable adjustment and grip.
