Watercool MOLEX Pump Adapter Model 63208 for Pump Power Connection

Watercool pump adapter MOLEX model 63208 for pump power connection is an electrical adapter that provides a standard MOLEX interface for water-cooling pump power leads. It is intended to connect pumps to existing MOLEX power sources, enabling a secure electrical connection in PC water-cooling or custom cooling configurations. The adapter supports straightforward integration where a MOLEX feed is required or preferred.

Advantages

The adapter offers compatibility with common MOLEX connectors used in PC power supplies and peripheral wiring, reducing the need for custom wiring or soldering. Its compact form factor allows placement within tight spaces inside computer cases or enclosures. The adapter is designed for reliable contact and steady power delivery to pumps, helping maintain consistent operation of water-cooling systems.

Suitable for

• Connecting water-cooling pumps to standard MOLEX power leads in PC builds
• Replacing a damaged or missing MOLEX pump power connection
• Adapting aftermarket or custom pumps to existing power wiring
• Temporary or permanent installations in desktop computers and test benches

Key specifications

• Connector type: Standard 4-pin MOLEX power interface
• Application: Pump power connection for water-cooling systems
• Form factor: Compact inline adapter suitable for confined spaces
• Contact design: Reliable mechanical contacts for steady power delivery
• Compatibility: Designed for use with common PC power supply MOLEX leads and compatible pump leads

How to use

Align the adapter's MOLEX connector with the corresponding MOLEX power lead from the power supply or peripheral cable, then push the connectors together until they seat firmly. Connect the opposite end to the pump's power input as required, ensuring correct orientation of the positive and ground pins. Verify that contacts are fully engaged before powering the system and secure any loose cables to prevent strain on the adapter connection.

Recommendations

Use the adapter only with compatible MOLEX power leads and pumps. Inspect connections for secure engagement and no visible damage before each use. Avoid exceeding the current rating of the original wiring and the connected pump; consult pump specifications and the power supply documentation to ensure safe operation. Route cables to minimize tension and prevent accidental disconnection.
