Weight Plates (23)

Weight plates for strength training and progressive loading

Weight plates are core equipment for barbells, dumbbell bars and various strength training systems. They allow precise increases in training load, predictable progress and flexible workouts at home, in the gym or in a professional fitness setting.

Choosing the right weight plates

Look at weight, centre-hole diameter, compatibility with the bar, material, coating, handle openings and floor protection.

• Progressive loading - different weights help you raise training intensity in a controlled way.
• For bars and systems - the hole size and the securing system must match your equipment.
• Home training - rubberised or coated plates can reduce noise and protect floors.
• Gyms - robust plates are built for frequent use and quick weight changes.

At DistriNode you can compare weight plates by weight, construction, compatibility and intensity of use.
