Goobay 58265 HDMI Cable 3m

The Goobay 58265 HDMI Cable is a 3 m Ultra High Speed HDMI cable with Ethernet designed for connecting TVs, projectors, gaming consoles and other HDMI-equipped devices. It features HDMI Type A connectors on both ends, supports a 48 Gbit/s data transfer rate, 3D video and Audio Return Channel (ARC). Gold-plated contacts improve signal transmission and reduce corrosion, and the cable comes in black.

Advantages

The cable supports the Ultra High Speed HDMI specification with up to 48 Gbit/s bandwidth and integrated Ethernet, enabling high-resolution video, 3D formats and ARC. HDMI Type A connectors on both ends ensure broad compatibility with most displays and source devices. Gold-plated contacts provide better conductivity and resistance to corrosion, while the 3 m length offers flexible placement between devices.

Suitable for

• Connecting TVs to Blu-ray players, set-top boxes and streaming devices
• Connecting gaming consoles to displays for high-bandwidth video and audio
• Linking projectors to laptops or media players in home or small office setups
• Systems requiring Audio Return Channel (ARC) and Ethernet over HDMI

How to use

Connect one HDMI Type A connector to the source device (such as a Blu-ray player, game console or laptop) and the other connector to the display device (TV, monitor or projector). Ensure both devices are powered and set to the correct HDMI input. For ARC functionality, connect the cable to the HDMI ARC port on the TV and the corresponding ARC port on the audio device and enable ARC in device settings if required.

Recommendations

For optimal performance, avoid sharp bends and heavy kinks in the cable, keep it away from high-power electrical cables to minimise interference, and ensure connectors are fully inserted. Use the full 3 m length for flexible placement; if connecting long runs beyond recommended lengths, consider active or fibre HDMI solutions.
