Wera 05021721001 L-shaped hex key set

The Wera 05021721001 L-shaped hex key set contains 13 Imperial-sized keys arranged in L-shape form to provide access and leverage for hex fasteners. Keys are manufactured to deliver precise fit on hex sockets and to withstand regular mechanical use. The set is intended for tasks requiring secure torque transfer and access into confined or recessed areas where a straight driver cannot reach.

Advantages

Each key in the set is produced from high-strength tool steel and finished to resist corrosion and wear. The L-shaped design offers both long and short arm options for reach and torque control, while the Imperial sizing covers a common range of inch-based hex fasteners. The compact set format simplifies storage and transport, and consistent manufacturing tolerances ensure repeatable engagement with fastener heads.

Suitable for

• Assembly and disassembly of machinery or equipment with Imperial hex fasteners
• Maintenance and repair tasks in automotive, bicycle, and industrial applications
• Workshop and garage use where access to recessed or tight fasteners is required
• Home DIY projects using inch-sized hex bolts and screws

Key specifications

• Set composition: 13 L-shaped hex keys in Imperial sizes
• Material: high-strength tool steel with protective finish
• Form factor: L-shaped keys offering long and short arm use
• Finish: corrosion-resistant coating for extended life
• Packaging: compact holder for organized storage and transport

How to use

Select the hex key whose tip snugly fits the fastener recess to avoid rounding. Insert the short arm into the fastener for higher torque or use the long arm to reach deeper or recessed bolts and to improve leverage for loosening or tightening. Apply steady, controlled force and avoid sudden impacts; for high-torque requirements consider using the short arm as the driving end. Keep the fastener engagement aligned to prevent cam-out and inspect keys periodically for wear or damage.

Recommendations

Store the set on the supplied holder to maintain size order and protect tips. Use appropriate personal protective equipment when working in confined or hazardous environments. For maximum service life, clean keys after use and avoid exposing them to corrosive chemicals or excessive moisture.
