Wireless push button Eltako FT55-rw white

The Eltako FT55-rw white is a compact wireless push button switch designed for radio-controlled building applications. This battery-free wall-mounted switch transmits radio commands to compatible receivers and actuators, allowing control of lights and other electrical loads without wiring between switch and load. Its unobtrusive white finish and low-profile design make it suitable for new installations or retrofits where running extra wiring is impractical.

Advantages

The device operates without a battery, using energy-harvesting technology to generate the required radio transmission from the mechanical act of pressing the button. Wireless operation reduces installation time and avoids the need to open walls for cabling. The Eltako FT55-rw supports reliable radio communication within building-control systems and is compatible with a range of receivers and actuators designed for smart lighting and automation tasks.

How to use

Install the FT55-rw on a flat wall surface or into a compatible switch frame according to the mounting instructions supplied by the system integrator. Pair the push button with the target receiver or actuator following the pairing procedure of the receiving device: pressing the button generates a radio telegram that the associated receiver interprets as a control command. No batteries are required, and normal operation is achieved by pressing the button for the desired switching action.

Recommendations

For reliable operation, ensure the switch is placed within the effective radio range of the chosen receiver and avoid mounting near large metal surfaces or strong sources of radio interference. Consult the receiver or actuator documentation for recommended positioning, and perform pairing and range tests after installation to confirm correct operation.
