Yato YT-82152 Portable Circular Saw

The Portable Circular Saw Yato YT-82152 is a handheld power saw designed for straight, efficient cuts in wood. Equipped with a 1500 W motor and a blade diameter of 185 mm, the saw delivers a maximum no-load speed of 4800 RPM and a maximum cutting depth of 65 mm. At 4.23 kg and with a 3 m power cable, the unit balances cutting performance with portability and is intended for on-site work, renovations and general carpentry tasks. The tool is built to protection class II standards to reduce electric shock risk.

Advantages

The saw combines a high-power motor with a compact form factor to provide consistent cutting performance while remaining maneuverable. A 185 mm blade with 2.8 mm plate thickness ensures stable tracking and reduced wobble during cuts. The 3 m cable offers extended reach without the immediate need for an extension lead, and the relatively low weight supports longer use with less operator fatigue. The protection class II insulation adds an extra layer of safety where grounding is not available.

Suitable for

• Crosscuts and rip cuts in soft and hardwood lumber
• On-site carpentry and renovation work
• Cutting sheet materials and panels suitable for circular saws
• DIY projects requiring portable, repeatable straight cuts

Key specifications

• Motor power: 1500 W
• No-load speed: up to 4800 RPM
• Blade diameter: 185 mm
• Maximum cutting depth: 65 mm
• Blade plate thickness: 2.8 mm
• Tool weight: 4.23 kg
• Power cable length: 3 m
• Protection class: Class II (double insulated)

How to use

Prior to use, fit a compatible 185 mm circular saw blade rated for the intended material and ensure the blade is secured and free of damage. Set the cutting depth to slightly greater than the material thickness for a clean cut and align the saw base with your cut line. Start the saw and allow it to reach full speed before engaging the workpiece; feed the saw steadily without forcing it to maintain blade life and finish quality. After completing cuts, wait for the blade to stop completely before setting the tool down and disconnect the power when changing blades or performing maintenance.

Recommendations

For safe and efficient operation, use appropriate personal protective equipment such as eye and hearing protection and a dust mask. Use blades suited to the material and retension or replace blades showing wear. When cutting large panels, support the workpiece to prevent binding and kickback. Follow local electrical safety rules and avoid use in wet conditions despite the tool's double insulation.
