Zalman CNPS16X WHITE computer cooling system processor cooler 12 cm

The Zalman CNPS16X WHITE is a tower-style CPU cooler designed for modern high-performance AMD and Intel processors. It combines a 120 mm fan, Zalman's patented DTH (Direct Touch Heat pipe) technology and a corrugated 4D fin structure to improve heat transfer and deliver efficient cooling in a white finish suitable for many builds.

Advantages

The cooler uses a 120 mm fan with a rotational speed range of 800–1500 RPM and Fluid Dynamic Bearing for reduced noise and longer lifespan. Zalman's DTH design enables direct contact between heat pipes and the CPU for faster heat extraction, while the corrugated fin geometry increases surface area and airflow uniformity. Integrated Real RGB LEDs with Zalman's original LED arrangement provide wider and brighter lighting in all directions. Compact dimensions (140 × 100 × 165 mm) and a weight of 0.88 kg make it compatible with many cases without excessive space requirements.

Suitable for

• Cooling mainstream and high-performance desktop CPUs from AMD and Intel
• Silent or near-silent PC builds requiring low fan noise
• White-themed or RGB-lit system builds
• Upgrades for socket types such as AM4, AM3+, AM3 and various LGA sockets (1150/1151/1155/1156/2011/2011-v3/2066)

How to use

Install the Zalman CNPS16X WHITE following the motherboard and cooler mounting instructions: secure the compatible mounting bracket for your CPU socket, place the cooler so the heat-pipe base contacts the CPU with thermal paste applied, and fasten the cooler evenly to the backplate or retention mechanism. Connect the 4-pin fan header to the motherboard CPU fan connector for PWM speed control and connect the RGB header or controller as specified by your case or motherboard to enable lighting.

Recommendations

For optimal performance, ensure good case airflow by installing intake and exhaust fans, apply a thin, even layer of high-quality thermal paste, and allow the BIOS or motherboard utilities to control fan curves. Verify compatibility with your case and memory modules to avoid clearance issues due to the cooler's height and fin layout.
