What is the difference between ACT OM3, OM4 and OS2 fibre optic cables?
OM3 and OM4 are multimode fibres for short to medium distances (up to ~300 m and ~400 m respectively at 10G). OS2 is a single-mode fibre for long distances up to several dozen kilometres. ACT offers all three types in indoor/outdoor jackets with LC, SC or MPO connectors.
Are ACT CAT6A cables suitable for 10 Gigabit Ethernet?
Yes. ACT CAT6A F/UTP cables are rated up to 500 MHz and fully support 10GBASE-T up to 100 metres. The solid-core AWG 23 construction and overall shielding eliminate alien crosstalk in densely packed cable ducts.
What does the CPR B2ca classification mean for ACT cables?
