APC Easy Rack PDU Mounting Bracket, Double Width, 2pairs

The APC ER7PDUBRKT Black mounting kit is designed to facilitate secure installation and tidy organization of equipment in racks, cabinets, or other mounting structures. This kit provides the necessary components and form factor to attach equipment reliably while maintaining a compact footprint and consistent appearance with black finish.

Its black finish provides a uniform look and helps conceal mounting hardware. Installation parts are arranged to reduce movement and vibration, contributing to consistent performance of mounted devices. The kit is compatible with common mounting environments and focuses on functional durability rather than decorative elements.

How to use

Position the mounting brackets against the rack or cabinet rails at the desired height, align mounting holes with the rack’s threaded or square openings, and secure the brackets using appropriate fasteners. Attach the equipment to the brackets following the device manufacturer’s instructions, ensuring even weight distribution and proper clearance for airflow and cabling. After installation, check that all fasteners are tightened and that the mounted device is stable and level.

Recommendations

Verify the rack’s weight capacity and ensure that the mounted equipment’s weight and dimensions are within the bracket’s supported range. Use appropriate screws, cage nuts or washers for your rack type, and periodically inspect mounting hardware for signs of loosening or corrosion. Maintain sufficient ventilation space around mounted devices to prevent overheating.
