Audio Cable 2x RCA Plug / 3.5mm Stereo Socket 5 m InLine 89940E

Audio cable 2x RCA male / 3.5mm Stereo female 5m InLine 89940E is a 5-metre interconnect cable designed to join devices with a 3.5mm stereo jack to equipment with two RCA inputs. The cable features gold-plated contacts and a black jacket, and uses 28 AWG conductors to balance flexibility and signal reliability for everyday audio connections.

Advantages

The gold-plated contacts reduce corrosion and help maintain consistent signal transfer. The 5 m length provides extended reach between source and receiver without using adapters, while the 28 AWG conductor size ensures a flexible cable that resists breakage during regular handling. The black outer jacket offers a neutral appearance suitable for home or office setups.

Suitable for

• Connecting smartphones, laptops or portable players to stereo amplifiers or powered speakers with RCA inputs
• Linking a 3.5mm headphone/output jack to audio receivers or mixers
• Temporary or semi-permanent home audio setups where a 5 m cable length is required

How to use

Plug the 3.5 mm stereo plug of your source device into the cable's 3.5 mm female socket, then insert the left and right RCA plugs into the corresponding RCA input jacks on the amplifier or speaker (match white/black or left/right markings where present). Ensure secure connections and avoid sharp bends near the connectors. Route the cable to prevent strain and interference from power cables.

Recommendations

For best performance, keep connection lengths as short as practical, avoid tight coils, and store the cable coiled loosely when not in use. If using in a fixed installation, secure the cable to prevent mechanical stress on the connectors.
