Bosch EXPERT MULTIMATERIAL X-LOCK Cutting Disc

The Bosch EXPERT MULTIMATERIAL X-LOCK cutting disc is engineered for long-life cutting of construction materials. Designed to work on concrete, brick, roofing tiles and reinforced concrete, the disc combines optimized diamond grit distribution with an advanced segment design to deliver extended durability and consistent cutting performance. The X-LOCK interface enables quick, tool-free disc changes for increased on-site productivity.

Advantages

The EXPERT MULTIMATERIAL X-LOCK disc offers enhanced longevity compared with standard diamond discs due to a balanced mix of diamond grits and a reinforced segment layout. Its construction provides reliable cutting across a range of hard materials while maintaining stable performance under heavy use. The X-LOCK mounting system simplifies replacement, saving time during frequent disc changes.

Suitable for

• Cutting concrete and reinforced concrete
• Cutting brick and masonry
• Cutting roofing tiles and natural stone

How to use

Fit the disc to a compatible X-LOCK angle grinder following the grinder manufacturer’s instructions and ensure the machine is disconnected from power while changing discs. Secure the disc using the X-LOCK mechanism until it clicks into place. Use appropriate feed pressure and avoid forcing the disc; allow the blade to cut at its own pace for optimal life. Always use a protective guard and ensure stable workpiece support during cutting.

Recommendations

Use appropriate personal protective equipment (safety glasses, gloves, hearing protection) and dust extraction when cutting. Verify compatibility with your angle grinder and follow the maximum RPM indicated on the disc and the tool. For prolonged blade life, perform intermittent cuts and allow cooling time on heavy-duty or continuous cutting tasks.
