Bosch Screwdriver Bit Extra Hard

The Bosch Screwdriver Bit Extra Hard is a set of three PZ 3 Pozidriv bits, each 25 mm long, with a 1/4" hexagonal shank. Packaged in a blister, these extra hard bits are intended for general screwdriving tasks where increased tip strength and repeatable fit are required. The tapered torsion zone reduces the risk of tip deformation by absorbing torque peaks and helps maintain precise engagement with fasteners.

Advantages

Extra hard bit material increases resistance to wear and deformation during repetitive use. The tapered torsion zone smooths torque spikes to protect the bit tip and fastener. The standardized 1/4" hex shank ensures compatibility with common bit holders and cordless screwdrivers. A compact blister pack keeps the three PZ 3 bits organized and easy to transport.

Suitable for

• Driving Pozidriv PZ 3 screws in wood, metal, and composite materials
• Use with cordless screwdrivers and bit holders with 1/4" hex receptacles
• Professional trade tasks and DIY assembly work requiring durable tips

How to use

Insert a PZ 3 bit into a compatible 1/4" hex bit holder or screwdriver chuck until it locks. Select the correct torque setting on your driver to match the screw and material. Apply steady pressure and keep the bit aligned with the screw head to ensure secure engagement. After use, store the bits in their blister pack to protect the tips and keep the set complete.

Recommendations

For best results, use the extra hard PZ 3 bits with appropriate torque limits and avoid excessive side load. Replace a bit if you notice rounding or chipping of the tip to prevent damage to screws and workpieces.
