Cable sheath DeLOCK 20741 Blue Red White

The DeLOCK 20741 cable sleeve is a braided, stretchable sleeve made of durable polyester in blue, red and white. With a diameter of 6 mm and a length of 2000 mm, it bundles and protects exposed cables, electrical tubes and wires from dirt and mechanical wear. The sleeve is cuttable to the required length and is reusable for adding or removing cables.

Advantages

The braided polyester construction provides abrasion and heat resistance and remains flexible over a wide temperature range from -50 °C to 150 °C. Its high elasticity allows it to accommodate multiple cables of varying diameters. The sleeve can be shortened with a hot cutting tool to prevent fraying and can be reused multiple times.

Suitable for

• Bundling and protecting computer and audio cables
• Organizing wiring in appliances and equipment
• Shielding small electrical tubes and wire looms
• Applications requiring a temperature-resistant protective sleeve

How to use

Slide the braided sleeve over the cable bundle or insert individual cables and tubes into the sleeve. Due to its stretchable braid, the sleeve will expand to accommodate different diameters. If a shorter length is required, cut the sleeve to size using a hot cutting tool to seal the cut edge and prevent fraying. Cables can be added or removed as needed.

Recommendations

For best results, measure the cable bundle diameter before installation to ensure a proper fit. When trimming the sleeve, use a suitable hot cutter in a well-ventilated area and follow safety instructions for plastic cutting to avoid burns or fumes.
