TechniSat TechniRouter 5/2x16 Router

The TechniSat TechniRouter 5/2x16 is a compact distribution router designed for satellite signal splitting and reliable signal routing in home and small installation environments. It provides two outputs and supports stable operation from a standard AC mains supply of 230 V at 50 Hz. With a compact footprint of 118 mm × 42 mm × 85 mm and a lightweight construction, this router can be mounted in limited spaces while maintaining consistent signal distribution performance. The device is finished in yellow and is suitable for integration with SAT antenna systems that require a two-output signal distribution.

Advantages

The TechniRouter 5/2x16 offers a compact form factor that simplifies installation in confined locations. Its mains-powered design ensures continuous operation without dependence on external DC sources. The unit’s two outputs are intended to provide stable distribution to multiple receivers while preserving signal integrity. The lightweight housing and standard AC operation make it straightforward to install and maintain within typical SAT antenna setups.

Suitable for (tasks / use cases)

• Distributing satellite signals to two receivers in a home or small commercial installation
• Replacement or upgrade of an existing two-output signal router in a SAT antenna system
• Use in installations with limited mounting space due to compact dimensions

Key specifications

• Power supply: AC 230 V, 50 Hz
• Number of outputs: 2
• Dimensions (W × D × H): 118 mm × 42 mm × 85 mm
• Weight: 0.69 kg
• Product colour: Yellow

How to use

Connect the input from the SAT antenna or upstream distribution line to the router’s input connector, then connect the two outputs to the respective receiver inputs or downstream distribution lines. Ensure the device is connected to a 230 V AC mains supply and mounted in a location with adequate ventilation and access for service. Verify signal levels and receiver settings after installation to confirm proper distribution and reception quality.

Recommendations

Install the router close to the antenna feed or in a central distribution point to minimize cable runs. Use quality coaxial cables and connectors to reduce signal losses. Avoid placing the unit near strong heat sources or in damp environments; regular visual inspections and occasional cleaning of connectors will help maintain optimal performance.
